Chapter on What is Permissible and Impermissible to Pray in - of Clothing and Place
From him, from Al-‘Abbas, from Ali, from Muhammad ibn Isma‘il, from Muhammad ibn Husayn ibn Kathir, from his father, who said:
I saw on Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, a woolen cloak between two coarse garments, so I asked Imam عليه السلام about that. Imam عليه السلام said: "I saw my father wearing it. Indeed, when we intend to pray, we wear the roughest of our clothes."
