مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ اَلْحَجَّالِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ اَلْوَلِيدِ اَلْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ أَوْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ إِنِّي أَقُومُ آخِرَ اَللَّيْلِ وَ أَخَافُ اَلصُّبْحَ قَالَ« اِقْرَأِ اَلْحَمْدَ وَ اِعْجَلِ اِعْجَلْ»
Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub, from Ali ibn Muhammad, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from al-Hajjal, from Abdullah ibn al-Walid al-Kindi, from Isma‘il ibn Jabir or Abdullah ibn Sinan. He said:
I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام: “I rise at the end of the night and I fear that dawn will come.” Imam عليه السلام said: “Recite al-Hamd and hurry, hurry.”
