Al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id, from Safwan, from Mansur, from Ibn Abi Ya‘fur:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: "If a man forgets a prostration and is certain that he has left it out, then let him perform it after he sits, before he gives the salam. And if he is in doubt, then let him give the salam and then perform the prostration, and let him recite a light tashahhud, and let him not call it a 'pecking,' for the 'pecking' is the pecking of a crow."
