Chapter on the Detailed Explanation of Prayer, Including the Obligatory and Recommended, and What is Permissible and Not Permissible.
Hariz narrated from Zurarah:
Abu Ja‘far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, (was asked) regarding a man who recites aloud in what should not be recited aloud, or recites silently in what should not be recited silently. Imam عليه السلام said: "Whichever of these he does deliberately, he has invalidated his prayer and must repeat it. But if he did it forgetfully, out of inattentiveness, or not knowing, then there is nothing upon him, and his prayer is complete."
