Chapter on the Virtue of the Month of Ramadan and the Prayers Within It in Addition to the Recommended Prayers Mentioned in the Other Months

Ali ibn Hatim from Humayd ibn Ziyad, who said: Abdullah ibn Ahmad al-Nahiki narrated to us from Ali ibn al-Hasan from Muhammad ibn Ziyad from Abu Khadijah from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “When the Month of Ramadan would arrive, the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, would increase in prayer, and I too increase (in prayer), so you should also increase (in prayer).”
