Chapter on Supplication Between the Units of Prayer (Rak‘at)

Ali ibn Hatim, from Muhammad ibn Ja’far, who said: Muhammad ibn Ahmad narrated to me, from Muhammad ibn Hassan, from Isma’il ibn Mihran, from al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali, from his father, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “Whoever recites the two Surahs; ‘al-Ankabut’ and ‘al-Rum’ during the Month of Ramadan on the night of the twenty-third. By Allah سبحانه وتعالى, O’ Aba Muhammad, (such person) he is among the people of Paradise. I do not make any exception in this at all, nor do I fear Allah سبحانه وتعالى will record a sin upon me for this statement. Indeed, these Surahs have a special status with Allah سبحانه وتعالى.”
