Chapter on Supplication Between the Units of Prayer (Rak‘at)

Ibn Abi ‘Umayr, from Muhammad ibn ‘Atiyyah, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said regarding the supplication in the Month of Ramadan, on every night, to say: “O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I ask You عز وجل by that which You عز وجل decree and determine from the decisive matter, in the wise decree, on the Night of Qadr, in the decree that is neither repelled nor altered, that You عز وجل prolong my life, and expand my sustenance, and make me among those through whom You عز وجل grant victory, and do not replace me with someone else.”
