Chapter on the Prayer of the Two Eids

And from him, from Ibrahim ibn Hashim from al-Nawfali from al-Sukuni from Imam Ja’far عليه السلام from his father عليه السلام, peace be upon them, who said: Imam al-Baqir عليه السلام said: “The Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, forbade that weapons be brought out on the two Eids, except in the case of an evident enemy.”
