Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 10
From him, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from a man from Abu al-Hasan al-Madi عليه السلام said:
I said to Imam عليه السلام: “For how old is a child prayed over (for Salat Al Mayyit), if he has reached a certain number of years or months?” Imam عليه السلام said: “The funeral prayer is performed over him in every case, unless he is miscarried before completion (birth).”
