مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ اَلْعَلَوِيِّ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ جُمْهُورٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَلْعَظِيمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ اَلْعَلَوِيِّ عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ اَلْعُرَنِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلصَّلاَةِ فِي اَلْمَسَاجِدِ اَلْمُصَوَّرَةِ فَقَالَ« أَكْرَهُ ذَلِكَ وَ لَكِنْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ ذَلِكَ اَلْيَوْمَ وَ لَوْ قَدْ قَامَ اَلْعَدْلُ لَرَأَيْتُمْ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ فِي ذَلِكَ»
Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub from al-Hasan ibn Ali al-‘Alawi from Sahl ibn Jumhur from Abd al-‘Azim ibn Abdillah al-‘Alawi from al-Hasan ibn al-Husayn al-‘Urani from Amr ibn Jumay’ who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about praying in mosques that contain images. Imam عليه السلام said: “I dislike that, but it does not harm you today. And if the ‘Just One’ (al Qaim (ajf)) were to rise, you would see what He (ajf) would do regarding that.”
