Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya from Ya'qub ibn Yazid from al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Washsha from Imam al-Ridha عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
I asked Imam al-Ridha عليه السلام about the prayer in the ‘Sacred Mosque’ (al-Masjid al-Haram) and the prayer in the ‘Mosque of the Messenger’, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, are they equal in virtue? Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes, and the prayer in between them equals one thousand prayers.”
