Chapter on Ruling of the Traveller and the Sick Person Regarding Fasting
From him, from Abu Jafar, from al-Husayn, from Fadalah, from Aban ibn Uthman, from al-Fadl ibn Abd al-Malik, who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘the hire-carriers (al-mukarin) who go back and forth.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “If they hasten the journey seriously, then let them shorten.”
