Al-Husayn ibn Said, from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd, from Ibn Sinan, who said:
I (narrator) asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘a man who is making up (month of) Ramadan, and he becomes in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) from the beginning of the night, and does not perform the ritual bath (ghusl) until the end of the night, while he thinks that dawn has already risen.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “He should not fast that day, and he should fast another day instead.”
