Al-Husayn ibn Said, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Hammad, from al-Halabi, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him:
Imam عليه السلام was asked about ‘a man who forgot, so he ate and drank, then remembered.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “He does not break his fast. It is only something that Allah سبحانه وتعالى has provided for him, so let him complete his fast.”
