وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ اَلْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي اَلصَّبَّاحِ اَلْكِنَانِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ أَيَّامٌ أَ يَتَطَوَّعُ فَقَالَ» لاَ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ مَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ«.
And from him, from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Muhammad ibn Ismail, from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl, from Abu al-Sabbah al-Kinani, who said:
I (narrator) asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘a man upon whom there are days from the month of Ramadan; may he perform voluntary fasting?’ Imam عليه السلام said: “No, not until he makes up what is upon him from the month of Ramadan.”
