Chapter on Making Up the Month of Ramadan, and the Ruling of One Who Breaks the Fast in It Intentionally and Forgetfully, and One upon Whom Fasting Two Consecutive Months Is Obligatory and He Breaks the Fast during Them, or upon Whom There Is a Vow Regarding Fasting

Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Faddal, from Ibrahim ibn Abi Bakr ibn Abi Sammak, from Zakariyya al-Mumin, from Ishaq ibn Ammar, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: Imam عليه السلام said: “The one who is making up the month of Ramadan has the choice regarding breaking the fast between himself and when the sun declines, and in voluntary fasting, between himself and when the sun sets.”
