Chapter on Making Up the Month of Ramadan, and the Ruling of One Who Breaks the Fast in It Intentionally and Forgetfully, and One upon Whom Fasting Two Consecutive Months Is Obligatory and He Breaks the Fast during Them, or upon Whom There Is a Vow Regarding Fasting

Sa’ad ibn Abdillah, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Abi al-Khattab, from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd, from Jamil ibn Darraj, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: Imam عليه السلام said: “Regarding the one who makes up the month of Ramadan, he has the choice until the decline of the sun. And if it is voluntary (fast), then he has the choice until the night (when the sun sets).”
