Al-Saffar, from Ibrahim ibn Hashim, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Hammad, from Ibrahim ibn Abd al-Hamid, from one of his retainers (mawali), who said:
I (narrator) asked Imam عليه السلام about ‘the wet dream of the fasting person’. Imam عليه السلام said: “If he has a wet dream in the month of Ramadan during the daytime, then it is not for him to sleep until he performs ritual bathing (ghusl). And whoever becomes ritually impure (junub) at night in the month of Ramadan must not sleep for even an hour until he performs ritual bathing (ghusl). So whoever becomes ritually impure in the month of Ramadan and sleeps until morning, then upon him is the freeing of a slave, or feeding sixty poor persons, and making up that day, and he must complete it, and he will never attain it (the rewards) ever.”
