Chapter on Additions

From him, from al-Husayn ibn Said, from Fadalah, from Aban, from Abd al-Rahman, who said: I (narrator) asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘a man who deliberately broke the fast of a day from the month of Ramadan.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “Upon him are fifteen sa’ (of charity), for each needy person one mudd, like that which the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, peace and blessings of Allah سبحانه وتعالى be upon him and his family, did.”
