Al-Husayn ibn Sa'id narrated from Ibn Sinan from Ibn Muskan from Al-Halabi who said:
I asked him about a man who forgot to pray Dhuhr until he had already prayed Asr. He said: "He should consider the prayer he has performed as Dhuhr, and then begin Asr anew." I asked: “What if he forgot both Dhuhr and Asr together, and then remembered them at sunset?” He said: "If there is still enough time and he does not fear missing either of them, he should pray Dhuhr first and then Asr. But if he fears that he will miss it, then he should begin with Asr and not delay it so that it would not be missed, resulting in missing both prayers. Rather, he should pray Asr within what remains of its time, and then afterward pray Dhuhr immediately after it."
